Amazing service to allow for after hour collection of our rental car when my flights changed due to airline imposed changes. Friendly staff and willing to go the extra mile to accommodate our needs and be of assistance. Vehicle was of good quality and very fuel efficient. Will definitely be back in the future and recommend to others.
Due to border closures and whatnot, our booking with Bargain Rental Cars had to change several times. Each time the staff were super friendly and happy to assist us. Picking up/dropping off the car in Christchurch was also a wonderful and friendly experience, the staff were fantastic, explained everything very well, even demonstrated the snow chains for us. They even showed us an error that we'd accidentally paid for windscreen protection twice and refunded us the difference. The car, a Toyota corolla sedan, didn't skip a beat. It got the four of us with all our luggage everywhere we needed to go without any problems, it managed the slush of the road going to the ski fields just fine. 10/10 would use Bargain Rental Cars again
We hired a 7 seater Toyota from Bargain Rental Cars and we couldn't be happier. Their prices were very competitive which helped our trip to be more affordable. The People Mover we were given was clean and in good condition. It ran very well. We will definitely consider using this company again.
Stop wasting money at the big name airport rentals, what a waste and insurance rip off. Found bargain car rentals online, cars no older than five years on commuter premium, affordable rates, quick pick-up from airport, friendly helpful staff, vehicle clean, well presented, Toyota Corolla Sport went like a rocket overtaking, very impressive for a small car & economical to. Save yourself time & money check what this business has to offer before committing to your next car rental.
Hassle free. Cost effective. Rented a 8-seater for two-weeks and driven 1400km. Not a single problem. Everything was great. Pick up and drop off not at Christchurch Airport but shuttle service was very convenient. Will rent again.
Bargain Rental Cars had very easy and straightforward rental and returns process. The Rav4 I rented to go up Porters ski fields was in excellent condition which gave me a confidence boost going uphill through that road.
Had a booking at 7pm. No one home or answered the after hours phone, wasted so much time. Would never book again
BRC, my usual Car Rental as it has not disappointed in value or service over the many times that I have rented a vehicle, which as given me confidence with the BRC company when on my holiday trips.
Pickup /drop off airport was easy and prompt 5/5. For choosing a rental far from terminal that was a concern for me. 3/5 because insurance options expensive for age & condition of my rental.
So grateful! I picked up and dropped off the car at after hours times due to my flights. Even during the "witching hour", the staff were friendly, helpful and kind and the pick up and drop off service from the airport was absolutely on point.
