Awesome car to drive! Changed my MI d about Toyota! And the blue is siiiick!!!! It was quite striking at first!! But it grew on me!! I'll definitely be going back again soon!
Managed to get a great deal with our 10 day car hire from Christchurch City centre with drop off at Christchurch airport. However we weren't particularly impressed with the vehicle; a Holden Trax with its incessant beeping every time you locked the car which annoyed everyone we parked near. Oh and the quality of the baby car seat was terrible and it took us a good hour to install the thing safely. Luckily we weren't in a hurry.
I always have the highest opinion of the service I get from Apex and this branch was the same. Convenient location, helpful staff and in all - I will deff use it agan and highly recommend it!

Easy to book. Car was in great shape, comfortable ride from Christchurch to Picton. No problems. Staff were friendly at pickup. Took about 15 minutes to sign and drive away. Pickup and drop-off easy to find. Would use Apex again
Had a much better experience than most by the looks of it! Found the cost to be a third of local competitors, even with full insurance coverage. Free extra driver which is a bonus and received a no cost car upgrade due to their small stock of cars on site this could be a negative if you have opted for a larger vehicle they don't have on the day. Overall, I would use them again.
A change in travel plan meant we needed a rental car in Christchurch which we had not booked. Had not heard of Apex but they were located in the CBD a 7 minute taxi ride from where we were staying which was a positive. Rang Apex who advised they could supply. We were on our way around 10 minutes later. Service absolutely brilliant. Highly recommend. Will certainly book future rentals with them.
Charge for early drop fee, no way to drop key in a box they have to be there and they charge $30 for it. Wont be renting from them again.
The process was quick n easy to get the rental car. The price compare to other rental companies were cheaper and also they pay for the ferry ticket for the car from Picton to Wellington harbour, whereas you have to pay for the rental car ferry ticket with other companies. We rented Toyota Highlander, it was clean, tidy n smooth had no issues in whole trip. Also drop off process was quick n easy, also dropped back to airport.
We rented the car for 4 weeks and traveled both islands without having any problems. Rate was very good and the car-ferry ticket was already included. Negative The car was not the newest and wasn’t in the best condition. But we thought it was still safe to travel with it. Also the car was not properly cleaned when we picked it up.
