Great honest cafe' Coffee was excellent The food was basic but delicious Would recommend

Really keen to see some simple improvements in this cafe to easily impress. Unfortunately a little more care required in cleanliness, wiping tables labelling / identifying cabinet food and service at the counter. Food is top notch though. Looking forward to see it better soon.

Just moved in to the neighborhood couple months ago, first time here to have my brunch. Friend highly recommended I should give it a try saying despite the old fashioned style they do make good foods. I ordered big breakfast and I loved it! Good meal Good service Good price

Went there in place of the brick at least we got served. They were quick with orders and busy. Not really friendly but they do a good job. Parking: Just standard road parking.

On a sunny day, this is a great place. Good coffee although not quite sure why it was served in cardboard cups when we also ordered food. The Oreo Smoothie came complete with an Oreo - and was great tasting. But the thing that will make us visit again was the waffles. We shared a plate even though it is only $11.50 and it was a good way of finishing off a nice drink sitting outside watching people. Friendly staff, clean and good value.

So I ordered Smashed Avocado, when it arrived, it came with 1 tiny piece of bread with Avocado smashed with 1 porches egg only. Egg was full of vinegar. Normally any cafe will use either a decent size of bread or two piece of small bread and will use at least 2 eggs. However, $16.50 for 1 bread 1 egg and dash of Avo is a complete rip off. I have even posted the photo of the dish. So anyone who has lots of money come to this cafe or else go to Block cafe or Melba cafe which is far better value. Hope this helps you to make the right choice for your money.

Great Breakfasts and excellent coffee. Lots of seating. Sit and read the paper. Friendly staff. Worth a visit. Popular with the elder folk of Blockhouse Bay.

This cafe is simple but that hides their great food, coffee and staff. Been going here for years and it is a must do for anyone who visits us as their request to come brunch at.
