The items you'll find in our store have been carefully selected to link with our collection, support the Museum's role as a war memorial and reflect New Zealand's special culture. Some are educational, some are beautiful and others are just plain fun.

Why do we need a store to raise funds?

Our funding comes from Auckland ratepayers, sponsors, donors and our own revenue-generating activities - like this online store. That means every purchase you make helps the Museum to take care of precious taonga, carry out conservation work, make great exhibitions, deliver educational programmes, support important research, and continue to be a world-class museum and war memorial.

Shop at our onsite store

Our onsite store carries a more diverse range of products than our online store, including pounamu (greenstone) jewellery and art and sculpture by New Zealand artists. You'll also find traditional Māori instruments made by leading carvers, hand made art glass and ceramic works by top local potters.
