This was my first time living in a hostel in NZ and it was absolutely the best. Yes, the bar next to it is noisy on the weekends until 3 am but they had already texted us in advance about it and we didn't mind! The rooms were warm and cozy and the services and facilities were spot on. Special shout-out to Chris for welcoming us and showing us around, making us feel like we were at home.
There is a bar next door and plays very loud music till 3am! We stayed on a Saturday night, so not sure if it’s just a Saturday thing. But be warned!nnGreat room though, pretty good price. Pretty tidy. Only would recommend if you have super ear plugs normal ear plugs didn’t even drown out the noise!nnNice to be in the city though, and close to lots of things.
Very decent. Sleep really good, relax beds. If i owned it i would have made sure more deep cleaned kitchen.
Very basic accommodation. The room I stayed in seemed to have people living there/staying long-term, which meant there was heaps of stuff all over the floor and no space on the one shelf in the bathroom. The mattress was uncomfortable and pillow thin. Strong smell of urine in the shared space for some reason...
Lovely and cozy place. No extractor in shower so gets quite moist and steamy just btw. Good location and prices.
