Finally got around to trying this place and it was definitely worth it.nnWe ordered a few different pizzas with some beers and everything was spot on. Even the chips on the side were really good.nnI usually go for meat pizzas, but the veggie one was just as impressive. I think the dough is what makes the difference, it really takes all the pizzas to another level.nnI’m normally not a fan of lamb because of the strong smell, but the lamb pizza here wasn’t overpowering at all and I actually enjoyed it.
Amazing food and friendly service at this beautiful little gem.nnWe visited with our family and friends last night without a booking, and even though they were completely full, they still accommodated us. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome.nnThe gentleman who looked after us was amazing, so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely funny. He made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The food was exceptional, thanks to two incredibly talented Italian chefs who clearly have a real passion for what they do.nnThe atmosphere, service, and food were all outstanding. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Arbour Woodfired Pizza!
We had the Mamaku and the Matai. Our daughter had the kids pizza with ham. All the pizzas had their own unique tastes and flavours. I had a kawakawa kombucha that tasted amazing. We got to sit in the outdoor environment with our fur baby in the evening with the lovely heaters beaming down on us. The atmosphere was warm and the service was welcoming. Would definitely recommend visiting this place for a night out and delicious pizza.
100% highly recommended if you’re in Lyttleton, Christchurch NZ. We ordered the chips fries, garden salad - super delicious, Matai prosciutto pizza, Rata margherita, and the shrimp special pizza of the day. Better book ahead but once you’re there, all smiles will greet you to your seat.
Seriously the best pizza I have had and I used to work in southern Italy.nnGreat crust. Creative and locally sourced toppings.nnAtmosphere is great. Feels like a friends lounge.nnStaff are friendly and competent.nnLove the plants and the exposed woodwork.nn6 stars
