Aotearoa Centre is a fantastic, modern hub for art and performance. The sleek design and inviting atmosphere make it a great place to immerse yourself in creativity.
This is a modern theatre, well furnished to a very high standard, with good facilities and friendly staff. A number of plays are staged here every week. There is a parking lot downstairs, which is very convenient, but the parking fee is slightly expensive.
This was a modern theatre with a clean, crisp feel to it. The theatre itself was light wood. No where to place your drinks inside, so we ended up placing them on the floor. If you are looking for a theatre with grandeur and history this will disappoint you.
Visited with elderly guests for graduation ceremony. Couldn't book accessible seat, staff tried to take his walker off him and expected him to climb steep stairs. Had to argue for him to get a seat with wheelchair people. Public spaces should accommodating to people with accessibility issues
My first time to visit this remarkable place & find it very interesting. Had a few cold beers & a bite before I visit the cinema which blew me away. Was humongous with other level seatings.
Place is amazing and the theater has great acoustics. Went to see Miriam Margolyes who was brilliant. I was up in the balcony, had a great view, only downside was I wear varivocals and couldn't see her face. In situations like that it would be great to have a screen showing the celebrities so that those "in the gods" could watch facial expressions! Just saying!! As my only bug bear!
Went to a show .. daytime. In bus tour from Tauranga. Most enjoyable. Good seating. Lots of people.
Went to the ASB threatre in the Aotea Centre to watch Jimmy Carr. Layout and staffing was great, bar was setup well and service was fast. Ticketing and seating was very well done
I enjoyed the workshops held here. The staff were friendly and helpful. Cafes and other food places are everywhere. I came here for the Auckland Writers Festival and this venue was perfect.
Amazing venue located in the heart of Auckland and the Aotea Arts Quarter. The Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre is New Zealand's largest modern tiered auditorium & is truly stunning after all the renovations. The cafe is also a good spot for a quick bite to eat.
