Very tasty big breakfast, but could be better with nicer bread, the dirty chai was delicious.nThere was a lot of reserved tables and not much seating for walk ins. Good service, food and coffee was brought out in good time.nI did think it was expensive almost restaurant priced.

The real letdown was the coffee: a single-shot long black that arrived shockingly acidic, to the point of being undrinkable. For a café that seems to pride itself on its atmosphere, the quality of the brew felt like a glaring oversight.nnIt’s puzzling how personal experiences can diverge from glowing online reviews, but honesty matters. Perhaps timing or an off-day played a role, and I’ll cautiously hope for improvement next time.nnOn the bright side, the cafe’s proximity to the beach saved the outing. A serene stroll along the shoreline, just steps away, offered the highlight of the visit—a reminder that even imperfect café trips can be redeemed by Kāpiti’s natural beauty.

I just love this restaurant. First time being therenMy daughter n Son-in-law have been a few times. Spoilt for choice so many dishes to choose from. I had creamy mushrooms and they were divine. I always think it speaks highly of a restaurant when people are waiting to grab a table. My daughter parked the car and I went in alone. Lovely server smiled and wished me a good morning. Just brightened my day. Thank you to you all for a great morning on my birthday.

Loved the shrimp and scallop keto salad. Big menu, baked goods looked really fresh!
