Amano is an absolute gem of a restaurant, offering an unforgettable dining experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is effortlessly classy, striking the perfect balance between modern elegance and cozy charm. From the moment you step inside, the impeccable 5-star service makes you feel completely taken care of.nnThe star of the evening for me was their Beef Tongue dish. Tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, it was served with a delicious olive accompaniment that added just the right touch of briny richness. This dish alone is reason enough to visit again—it’s an absolute must-try for anyone seeking something unique and expertly crafted.nnAnother standout was their anchovies dish. It arrived on perfectly toasted bread, with a delightful crispness that paired beautifully with the salty, savory anchovies. The simplicity of the dish highlights the restaurant’s ability to turn high-quality ingredients into something truly special.nnEvery aspect of the meal exceeded expectations, from the food to the atmosphere and service. Amano is a place I would gladly return to, and I can’t wait to explore more of their menu. Highly recommended!
Amano is always amazing, have never been disappointed. The flavors are so amazing and there’s such a wide variety of choice. There’s a lot of room to play with flavors and create the most amazing culinary experience. The drinks menu, especially the cocktails are amazing. As someone who has tried almost all the cocktails on their menu I can highly recommend the grapefruit and tamarillo cocktail.nnFrom the food menu, we focused mostly on seafood, with only one meat item as a main. Entrees are a must, especially the smoked warehou which I could honestly have every single day and not get tired of. The oysters are also fantastic. The main attraction for me, and has been for the last few years is the chitarra pasta, the fresh scampi melt in your mouth.nnThe one thing I wouldn’t recommend on the menu is the steak/meat items but everything else is fantastic. I now only order seafood items except for the lamb ragu which is also always a hit amongst friends ironically my table partner always orders that dish.
It's my first time to visit Amano. I went there for lunch with my friends. We did not have a booking but we managed to get a table. The place was full and busy but the staff were attentive. They made sure we all have water sparkling by the way, and they patiently explained what's on the menu. The food was great! I ordered pappardelle with lamb ragu. So yum! And the toilet is so amazing as well. Clean and smelled nice. They have towels for drying hands. Ambience is cozy. Music is not too loud. It's so chill. Will definitely be back!
Wow! Great food experience and we'll worth the money. Ambience excellent. Service top notch.
I recently discovered this restaurant through Google and had high expectations due to its popular reviews. However, I was a bit disappointed with my experience. I didn't anticipate that a brunch spot would require reservations, and it was incredibly busy on weekends. After putting our name on the waitlist, we had to wait for about an hour and a half before being seated. Even after we finally sat down and placed our orders, the food took another over half an hour to arrive, and only after we inquired about it with the waitress.nnWhile the pasta we ordered was delicious even though a little salty, as a main course, the portion was not filling enough. Absolutely! Lesson learned, making a reservation in advance will be necessary for future visits. I do hope that the restaurant takes steps to improve their service, as it would greatly enhance the overall experience for their customers.
