I visited this restaurant on a recommendation, and it truly exceeded expectations. The venue has a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. I would highly recommend making a reservation in advance, as it is extremely popular and often very busy.nThe staff were attentive and provided excellent service throughout the evening. The food was outstanding — the steak was exceptionally tender, and the acidity of the sauce complemented it perfectly. The Sauvignon Blanc was equally impressive and paired beautifully with the meal.nOverall, it was a wonderful dining experience that I would gladly recommend to others.
Been hearing about this place for sometime. So we booked lunch today for a very special occasion. The food indeed was delicious. I got to taste a bit of everyone's order lol. Venue isn't bad at all. Was really busy I can see. A bit crowded for the size and they can spruce the place up a bit in my opinion. After all everyone's paying sort of top dollar. Service was overall good and attentive ... could use a bit more smiles guys. I found corkage fee for bringing your own small birthday day cake a bit over the top especially when we aren't asking for extra plates or cutlery. Going back? For the food...definitely yes. otherwise hmmm...
Easy walk from CBD and our favourite place before going to a concert 5-7mins walk to the arena. Highly popular, seasonal produce with attentive service! The best Italian cuisine at the heart of Britomart, Auckland. Potions are large and delicious. It’s like a punch in your face kinda . A great place for cosy date night to girls catch up or even big gatherings. I would recommend Booking In Advance. This place is always full regardless of the day or time of the week. They have a cute bakery as well and their COFFEE is life stabilising!nnAmbience: as you enter the structure reminds me of being in spain where rustic meets modern architecture. I believe the place was an old historic warehouse with an open kitchen, wood to brick walls with the view of Waitematā Harbour.nnStaff: what can I say. So helpful, very observant and friendly.
Tried Amano in the CBD after many recommendations.nnThe cacio e pepe was rich and well-coated a bit heavy, best to share.nThe chitarra with scampi was the standout — fresh seafood and great texture.nFocaccia di Recco was thin, crispy, and very cheesy.nnCoffee was a bit burnt and too hot, but the chai latte was good.nNice atmosphere — would return to try the sourdough.
You know the meals where every calorie is worth it?nI had the same with shrimp pasta and ragu, both orgasmic!nAnd I also loved the interior design,it all has been a great experience together with nice staff as a cherry on top. Whatever management is doing, they’re doing it right
