Summer 2012/2013 is all about ilabb, federation, HVY, OWL, Fox and more. The downhill and trail biking in Queenstown is blowing up and ALTA has been supporting this for the last few summers. Incredible service, Workshop mechanic did an excellent job fitting me in for a rear brake bleed and getting me back on the Park ASAP. Visited almost all the bike shops in QT while I was there, and these guys were the most helpful and friendly. Thanks guys!
We hired our snowboards and boots through Alta, the customer service was excellent, the guy in the shop was so helpful and flexible! Good quality rental gear and good prices for multi day hire.
Legit full service downhill MB bike rental shop. Totally styles us out for Christmas too! Met up with a few of the shop staff on the mountain and got some great insider advice and tips. Was awesome!
Smoothly replace the bicycle seat cushion, the clerk is very patient
Got offered a discount for 10 people to hire e-bikes. We paid beforehand. While the experience was good, we returned to a different person 'the boss', saying that the other worker wasn't allowed to offer us the discount and negative things at his worker to us. He wouldn't uphold the agreed cost and was rude about the situation and made us pay again double what was offered and already paid for. I recommend you don't hire bikes from here, and if you're the worker that sold us the deal, go work for someone who will appreciate your sales skills, dont work for this guy.
Great staff,can rent all sorts of bikes, dirt jumpers,downhills,enduros,ebikes. The mechanics don't charge you for every little thing, do a great job and get it done quickly and inexpensively. Definitely recommend if you're in queenstown.
I bought my skis in Alta,this year and last year. Alta’s service is very good, skis are very good,too.
Store was flexible in terms of bike hires. I hired mountain ebikes and a 3-hour option to take on my Skyline mountain bike adventures and was powering through turns with my city drifts. Friendly staff and great service!
have used these guys for my forbidden the last couple of days. They replaced a rim, respoked, replaced rotor and tuned all last minute to get me back up and riding. much appreciated.
Last week I bought new ski boots from Alta. Tommy the boot fitting guy was amazing, spending time to ensure I got the best fitting possible. He suggested to a boot that he thought would fit my shape foot but didn't stop there fitting another couple of boots to compare fit and comfort. His first reccomendation was the best fit. If you are looking for new boots book in with Tommy you won't be disappointed
