Alpenhorn Motel is centrally located in a sunny and sheltered area of Te Anau. Your accommodation will be only a five minute walk from the town centre’s cinema, shops and restaurants and less than a one minute walk from the shores of Lake Te Anau.

Te Anau is the gateway to New Zealand's largest and most spectacular national park - The World Heritage status Fiordland National Park. Te Anau is also the closest town to the world renowned Milford Sound which is just 2 hours away by car. Stay with us in Te Anau and take time to relax and enjoy all that this amazing part of the world has to offer.

Te Anau and Fiordland have many attractions to suit any person, budget and timeframe. From overnight tours of Milford or Doubtful Sound to 2 hour cruises on Lake Te Anau. From scenic helicopter flights around the remote and wild west coast, to horse riding.

Alpenhorn Motel offers 7 well-appointed accommodation units. 5 studio units and 2 family units (sleeps 1-7). Free Wireless Internet Access is also available. Our motel units are warm and cosy with full kitchen facilities, phone, electric blankets and separate shower and toilet. A continental breakfast is available if you wish. Each unit has a quiet garden area. We also have available for guests, the use of our laundry, BBQ, trampoline and courtesy car. All our units have just been recently renovated.
