Allied Petroleum 24/7 Fuel

DO NOT RELY on this if you have an overseas card … no one around to help and it will quite often reject the card .: better to go straight to the BP nearby ..nTried a few times on 18 Feb 26 and did not work .. due to time lost had to return my rental car without the fuel top up

When the pump instructed me to start fueling, as soon as I would remove the nozzle it, the pump would drop back to the initial screen and would not pump fuel. There was no indication of an error or a reason, nor whether the hold was actually placed on my card and/or released.

Don’t waste your time here. Frustrating experience. Would not accept any of my Debit or Credit cards. Go to BP just minutes down the street.

The fine print at the pump does mention NZD$250 pre-purchase authorising, but 2 weeks later the $250 authorisation has not cleared out, whilst separate charge for circa $120 correct amount has gone through. Poor form that the separate $250 authorisation did not clear out when actual transaction posted, and been waiting 2 weeks. Will raise dispute escalation with Card issuer, and better to use nearby BP next time. Bins overflowing, and diesel pumps were filthy.
