Stay there monthly for business.nVery helpful, friendly hosts.nVery clean, tidy and well equipped.nPlenty of power points.nMilk, tea, coffee, sugar, cookies supplied.nHas been well upgraded which is pleasant!nnTIP: Make sure the main heater power point on wall is turned on as well as the actual heater.nnMarked car parks according to unit number would be great so that you can unload luggage by your unit for when motel complex was busy.
The customer service I received was some of the best that I have ever had - and I travel a lot. For the first point of contact when I nervously arrived in Taumarunui for the first time for work - the receptionist manager was super friendly, interested in who I was / why I was there etc, helped me find the perfect place for dinner the Thai restaurant does not take credit card but was extra delicious and made me feel valued. As a woman who travels alone for work a lot, it is often quite scary travelling to new towns. This hotel made me feel at home and safe. Thank you so much. The room was clean, and warm and had everything I needed. So nice to be off the main road away from traffic noise also.
Friendly service, clean, handy to the shopping center, and of course the RSA the only thing I would update would be the heater, just because it didn't heat the room up effectively being open plan, but I guess I could have hopped in bed to keep warm with the blanket on?...nopenGreat place to stay highly recommended
Great reception, lovely room. Shame we only had an over nighter, not even, left at 3:30am for the dawn ceremony of the opening of the Marae lol.nBut my second visit there and would safely book there again.
Very clean and tidy though dated. Plenty of power points for loading devices and good wifi. Friendly and helpful. With an upstairs room it is necessary to walk up the stairs and the car parks are not very close to this access. Complimentary milk along with tea, coffee etc include two cookies - a bonus!
