Great place to have coffee and a meal after shopping. Ordered the omelet with a choice of 3 fillings: ham, mushroom and spinach. Other options available: chicken, cheese, tomato.Food: 5/5

Worst pies, for $6.90. My wife and I each had one. Tasted similar to something you'd find for $1 in the supermarket freezer. Also came straight out of the pie warmer but was luke-warm. Made the mistake of buying a pottle of fruit salad to save for our toddler to eat later. Only to discover the fruit had been treated to keep them looking fresh, it tasted like someone had salted the apple slices. Inedible, had to throw it out. Please avoid this place, dodgy food and poor service. Wouldn't have minded the clashing decore but over priced bad quality food in a cafe is about as bad as you get.

Had the big breakfast reasonable prices .Enough food to share with the wife . Enjoyed the breakfast not so much the coffee . Looks like only 2 people working in the café so it took a while for the food to come out.

We are staying at the Heartland Hotel so walked to the Acorn Cafe for some lunch. What a dreadful place! Poor customer service without any friendly greeting. The hot food glass cabinets were filthy and the pies and savouries inside had not been heated up properly before putting them in there to sell. We asked for a toasted sandwich -- "no, we don't have avocado, no we don't have wedges, no we don't have that." Why not cross them off the chalkboard menu then?! All in all, avoid this Cafe -- too expensive as well! I would have given a no star rating if I could

Disgusting seeing staff using no gloves not only that we caught them just wiping off cutlery that was used and giving it to another customer. First and last time !!

Surprisingly good for a place next to a department store. The cappuccino I ordered was amazing. The food was good but not exceptional. The people. Ould be a little bit more warm but they are corteous without a doubt. Anyway... good place for breakfast.

Very nice. Clean and tidy, ample of room if you want to take your friends there!The couple who owns it has been here for years! Always friendly and talkative.

Came in yesterday, great range of food and drinks their was something for eveyone! Food was so good I could cry! Everything came out so quick, all together and nice and hot! The coffee was the best I've ever had! I was about to ask for sauce but before i could it was offered to me! I thought the service was super friendly! You are very true to your mission statement! I cant wait to come back and try the rest of the menu even if I'm not going to the airport I will be making the drive to come back! Thank you so much!

Very bad Used plates kept for the customers to use. I had ordered a cheese cake. I doubt it wa 5 days old and was contaminated. Will be complaining to Food Safety Authority.
