I cant help but give them a five star rating. I purchased a camera that became faulty. I thought I was going to be in for a battle like most stores so I prepared for the big fight. I sent an email stating what had happend and they replied strait away with a reply paid voucher to send the camera back. I posted it back in the morning and they had the money in my account that same day. Things are alway going to go wrong in life its what people do about it that counts. Seconds world did the correct thing and I am a very happy customer and will be back.

Rubbish service today. Purchased a front loading machine and item was to be in store after 3 days for collection. Go to collect after checking the washer machine was ready to be collected. On arrival today I’m told they don’t have the washing machine and it could a month away. Terrible service. Definitely second in terms of service.

Came back as a repeat customer to buy another washing machine. The same one. Front desk checkout clerk (an older surly gentleman) was particularly rude and protested that I pay more than what the salesperson entered into the sales invoice, and further complained he wasn’t making enough money out of it.. appalling! The sale included a next day (Sunday) delivery. Sunday arrived, they strung me along all day with the delivery, changing the time window 3 times, and eventually arrived at 7pm. The 2 delivery men were rude, rough handled the machine in it’s damaged packaging (most likely from them roughing it around the back of the truck), and were negligent smashing the machine into the elevator panels and building walls. I asked them to wait outside while I went looking for a knife as they forgot to bring tools to unpack the machine, the louder of the 2 proceeded to let himself inside! Removing the packaging revealed it was the wrong machine! Naturally, the delivery men argued and tried to force me to take the machine - which I refused. They then threatened to not take it back, which showed a real lack of intelligence. The store failed to phone me the next day, so I had to chase them up after lunch, the manager apologised, and assured me if I paid more to get a larger and better machine he’d deliver it with another driver team that day or next day. It couldn’t be done that day so the next day was agreed, the next day at 3:42pm the same surly clerk called me to say I owed money! After assuring me they would be there before 5pm, I paid. It’s 9:48pm and no sign of 2ndsworld or my machine. Do yourself a favour - AVOID!!!

Went there to shop dishwasher and they told me the model i purchased needed to be order from Melbourne store and they promised to deliver to me within 10-14 business days. Been waited since the 20th October and there is no sign of any deliveries or updates. I called the online store and they promise to call me back, but never hear anything. I waited for another week and finally i decided to send an email. Finally got a phone call from them telling me that the dishwasher is somehow lost during the process and i have to go to Cremorne Store to pick up the dishwasher. This is so unprofessional and inconsiderate how inconvenient they make the customer. I have to drive all the way to Cremorne from Kingsford just to pick up a dishwasher which was promised to delivered to me.
