We came here for our anniversary and were greeted by friendly staff. We ordered the Whisky flights and the charcuterie plate. The staff was knowledgeable and assisted us with the selection. Everything went well together. The portion was great for two people, and loved that the flights came with an informative card about each whiskey. We loved the overall experience and atmosphere. Excellent whiskey selection, so definitely coming back.

classy little spot, my friends and i visited here, i liked how the cocktails menu was easy to follow and not overwhelming, like other cocktail bars we've visited. My favourite drink was Den of Vice, where u pour in the sweet syrup, mix it up and yummo!Food: 5/5
Two story, 1920s prohibition era/burlesque bar vibes. The cocktails we had were very good, well balanced. They have crushed ice for really nice brambles. Bar staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.Service: 5/5
@bar1806 is one of our fav laid back chill bars in Melbourne, with speakeasy ‘boardwalk empire’ vibes, great cocktail list and drinking snacks to boot. Great bar. Amazing, authentic jazz and wonderful decor and ambiance. It’s so great to find live music that is skilfully and masterfully performed in a bar. Superb. The food was a let down as it was on the cooler side or warm but very tasty…. But it’s. Bar. However chips????…. With live music!!! . We were down for comedy festival and stumbled on 1806, and so glad we did.
We loved our experience at 1806. We did a cocktail class with friends and the staff were knowledgeable, the cocktails were amazing, food was equally as good and the atmosphere was gorgeous. We would highly recommend going here to anyone who wants to create some special memories. Will definitely be coming back.Food: 5/5

Had a fabulous time!! Marcus mixed some of the best and most interesting drinks i’ve ever had!! The La Familia, a hot chocolate styled mezcal perfect for a cold winter night, and another drink green shaken with cucumber and a cherry super refreshing!! My husband and I attended the Advanced Cocktail Masterclass recently while visiting Melbourne. We had so much fun learning and discussing all things cocktails with Mushi my sincere apologies for spelling if incorrect. He was engaging, fun, enthusiastic and encouraging throughout the whole experience. We appreciated how he tailored the class to our individual needs my husband definitely knows more than I do and this was done in a very considerate way. He was open to answering any questions we had throughout the course. We especially loved the process of having a go at creating our own cocktails. Strongly recommend cocktail hobbyists have a go at their masterclasses, you will not regret it. Thanks heaps Mushi and 1806.
