I brought in a bracelet for repair and was given a price and then paid for said repair for a new latch. There was no indication this was a quote neither written on the receipt or otherwise. After two weeks I come to pick up the bracelet and I’m told the new latch was more than the price I was charged. So it was repaired instead, which mind you, I was told initially couldn’t occur, thus the need for a new latch. I indicated that the price I paid was for a new latch and that they should honour the written price. After much disagreement the sales woman begrudgingly agreed to send it back to have a new latch attached. This was appalling service on their part and they only agreed after I noted my right under consumer law. Now I must wait an addition two weeks.
Very disappointed by the manager at the Greensborough store. She did not honour a written price by another staff member for a watch and proceeded to say she could do nothing even though her staff member quoted me the wrong price.
