Located on beside a main road. Can be accessed from shopping mall food court on level 3, exit beside motto motto food store. Food quality: Somewhat hit or miss. Dim Sum are good, though it’s better to order as you are about to eat them as food turns cold quickly with the weather. - Singapore bee hoon is large portion, can feed maybe 6 or more if each is served a small bowl portion, but it’s actually a kind of Chinese style noodle with curry flavour which needs getting used to. Food portion / Price: Portions as expected and priced in restaurant prices as expected. - Duck close to $30 came out way smaller portion than expected, taste was reasonable but skin not as crispy as it is in Asia. Service: Hit or miss. Certain staff, maybe the regular or more senior ones, definitely put in effort to fill up empty tea pots, attend to us when we have any issue. But some staff claim to be busy and never came back. Food is served using robots which help alleviate staff shortage, very creative and a novelty! Crowd: Still had lots of spare seats on weekday lunch. Payment: Card or cash.
Friends around always complain about the limited places for Yum Cha in Brisbane. And I alway suggest this place where seldom disappoints me! The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly. I don’t like those restaurants which serve you a plastic bowl and a hot jar of water, letting you to clean the cutlery right after you have sat down. Unlike other Yum Cha places on south side, most of the dim sum here were freshly steamed so it might need to wait a bit. Good dim sum should be served in hot and looks delicate, here I found!
The food was absolutely delicious! I didn't mind the robots bringing out the food, I suppose it saves time, but it is very impersonal! Also the dirty dishes were not cleared from the table! If we were supposed to do that ourselves, we should have been told, so we knew to do it!
Not recommended. Terrible takeaway. We ordered duck and vege. It was inedible. The duck had bones, fatty gristle and the skin was slimy in the sauce..almost no meat. This could not be given to any child under the age of 12 due to a choking hazard. The pork dumplings were hard and dry.
Very simple decor inside and spacious. The main reason to dine here was to experience delicious Yum Cha food and that's what we got. The various dishes we ordered was very tasty with the dumplings my particular favourite. The robotic waitresses Lilly and Bella added to a great evening with the service being fast and efficient. Will recommend to others and will return.
Take a long time for the first 2 dishes to serve up, further long wait time between dishes, the restaurant was not even half full mediocre yum cha dishes, satay chicken too tough. Very small servings, not worth the value of groupon costs. Staff are extremely polite and friendly but lack attention, have to ask for everything, chilli sauce, soya source, steamed dumplings served up without the traditional vinegar those were meant to be the standard condiments in yum cha cuisine. Two of us sharing one spoon through the meal Can't be bothered to ask again, wait staff finally remembered to fill our water glasses when we're about to leave.
This establishment, has amazing food for all, the staff are very attentive and well mannered. I love dining here with friends and family and always recommend this establishment. Yum cha Cuisine, Indro. Is by far one of the best eats in the area!
Had a huge yum cha craving and decided to go back to Yum Cha Cuisine because last time is was really good. Fast forward a year later and it was so disappointing. Nothing tasted fresh and the chicken legs lacked flavour and felt like poor quality as well. Service wasn't great either especially since they won't even that busy.
update: do not come here if you want REAL Chinese food! There Yum Cha small plates are nice, but do not order their fried dishes...they are just 'australian chinese food'. ———————————————————————— This shop is a bit pricy for yum cha——you may find cheaper but similar quality ones elsewhere. Anyway, i only review for the food i ordered. They taste awesome, especially the spring roll, it is very crispy and fresh. The chicken feet is as soft as the meat is melted, and taste just right. food comes quick, i saw some comments said they mind it because that means the food was ready before they come, i have to say that's the way yumcha works. They make a stack of same dish at once instead of cook at each customer arrives. The service is good at the time i come. Will visit again :
Yum Cha is a definite favourite for me when travelling as I have the option of trying lots of different dishes for under $10. They also do jugs of softdrink too to share with the table. There is a good selection of dishes available that you can order off the menu and food comes out relatively quickly within 5-10 minutes. They also offer a range of larger/full meals as well wirh banquet options available for 2 or more people. Staff are friendly and helpful. I have a seafood allergy and they were able to make a dish for me with only meat and no seafood which was really nice. I had a great experience here, price was pretty good and I would definitely come back again.
