The coffee is good and you can still have a real mug! I like watching the coffee roasting in the middle. It's very busy but perhaps understaffed because everything takes a long time even prepared muffins etc. Lots of interesting vegetarian options.
Friendly staff, easy ordering and quick turnaround. The coffee and scone were pretty good. Not as busy as I would have expected, as they are right next to Coles. Definitely worth a try.
Ordered a medium size take away chai late. This costs $5.80 and the size of a small at most other places. I asked the lady why the cost was so high, she said it was an extra 80 cents for lactose free they used the home brand long life lactose free milk. When the order came, it was small and very sweet. I was also told that the cost was high because they had to pay high rent. I thought volume would reconsile that.. An over priced lesson... Look at the container that was classified as a medium size take away. I have small hands..
Quite expensively priced coffees and a pretty long time waiting to be served despite number of staff and small amount of customers. Staff member did acknowledge waiting customers. There were a lot of bored looking customers waiting for orders sitting around. Tables and chairs were dirty and covered in food. Staff were pleasant enough when I did finally get served. Maybe management might think about employing more staff for weekend shifts, as there are plenty of other cafes in the shopping centre that people might go to instead.
For such a central location the menu is ridiculously limited and somewhat overpriced. When ordering eggs on toast with bacon, they completely missed me ordering bacon and only one slice of small sourdough. The food is acceptable in quality, though there are much better options an escalator ride away. My brother ordered the burger and fries and said the fries tasted like they'd been cooked with fish and the meat patty of the nurger was almost soft enough for a sloppy joe. Coffee was good, but nondescript. Also ordered the Lavender Latte, which doesn't actually state that this is a non-coffee drink - need to be more obvious with your signage here! Service was there to serve, not to build rapport - very slow food. For somewhere so easily accessible, you really need to pick up the game.
Waited long time for food, and here are the two croissants they made for me??? I thought there are pancakes!!!
Extremely slow service. I ordered poached eggs on toast plus hash browns, and a coffee. Coffee delivery was just OK but after 15 minutes the eggs were a no-show. I asked the server about it, and she checked, saying it was on its way. It was served after having waited 25 minutes. The 3 stars are for the fact that it was very tasty, as was the coffee. The cafe was not full and I heard another lady asking about a no-show meal. A couple of weeks ago I ordered a toastie which took a while and when I asked they must have remembered it was still in the machine - it was well overcooked. The table service is a bit chaotic even when not at full capacity and with a smaller menu.
Superb food for a Food Court cafe. Presentation excellent, very tasty, friendly staff. Single origin coffee is also quite good and I am a fussy coffee drinker although next time I will have an extra 1/2 shot in my large latte. Many menu items are unusual - the pork belly with poached egg was sublime. Since my experience here I now seek out Coffee Hit cafes in other shopping centres.
Coffee has always been nice here, as are the cold drinks. Food is ok for the price. Staff friendly. The overall service could be improved though; when there is no cutlery on your table or any of the tables around you, it takes a while to realise nobody is bringing you any, so you have to go scavenge from other tables. Case in point we got 3 fish & chips, and I could only find two knives and three forks at the unattended tables this was at about 2pm on a Saturday. If they can get the basics back on track, they shall remain a good choice for a coffee & a bite to eat at Indooroopilly.
Ordered a large latte for takeaway, the girl who served me, who I believe was the manager, got me to repeat the size of the drink, which showed she wasn't listening to me whilst I was placing order, and didn't repeat my order back to me, so I couldn't confirm what she had processed. I was then given an iced latte, when I corrected them on my order, she repeated the wrong order back to me, when I told her that wasn't what I ordered, she rudely turned her back flung up her hand and told the barista to remake the drink and stormed off. Absolutely will not be going back, as this is was just disgraceful behaviour for a grown woman.
