Amazing customer service from entry. Menu is amazing not over the top expensive considering the area. The food is AMAZING and the sake was great too. Will definitely be back. Great little out of the main road restaurant the ladies are so lovely.
Best Japanese restaurant in South Yarra by far! The food never disappoints and the staff are super nice. Their takeaway food is also great so would definitely recommend ordering while we're all in lockdown! My housemates and I ordered a ton of sushi from them for a lockdown birthday and the presentation was amazing and all of the sushi was to die for. Would recommend this place to anyone.
Very high quality sushi and other Japanese foods for a good price. The decor was a bit sparse, but you won't spend much time noticing. The okonomiyaki was especially good in my opinion, soft and with a great sweet sauce.Food: 5/5
We love Yoshi! Clean healthy Japanese. Beautiful food, great service and friendly managers. Would highly recommend it to anyone Yoshi take away is great especially during COVID when we can’t dine in! Thank you Yoshi
Really delicious Korean food. We got the lovers set and it felt like so much. The quality of the fried chicken wad really good.
Very warm welcoming cozy place. Fast and fresh. Japanese pancakes were yummy. Smaller potion than expected. Friendly and attentive service.
This place was ok at best. Way too expensive for the menu items served. $29 for udon. $29 teriyaki chicken. $20 for three chicken skewers. Nothing memorable. It’s an average menu and the food was acceptable but not worth the cost. Service was also so slow- I know there is a staff shortage but given the cost I would expect better service. Unlikely to return or recommend.
I visited Yoshi for a birthday celebration last night and it was a wonderful experience. Friendly service, fresh sashimi, generous portions, reasonable prices and definitely the best Teriyaki sauce we both have ever had. The beef was tender, good quality and cooked perfectly too. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We left happy, full and satisfied. Can't wait to come back!
