We stopped in here for brunch and really enjoyed it. The inside was quite busy because there happened to be two football matches on, so we sat out on the patio. Despite how busy they were, service was quick and friendly, and the food was great. There are also some awesome vegan options.
Yes! Wow. Not a vegan, and still had the vegan skillet. Best decision of the day. Amazing mushrooms. Grabbed some sides. The sausages are home made and look like little burger patties. Great spot. Shame there isn’t a great lake view but if you choose the right seat there is a bit
Wonderful little coffee shop in Queenstown conveniently located near the beach. Scoped this place out to watch the game and it was buzzing with youthful energy. The coffee tasted great and the pastries delectable! I came back here to watch the France vs Morocco world cup semi final and it was packed with French people. What an amazing atmosphere! They offer pastries and breakfast fare of which we only had a handful of pastries to start the day. Their coffee is delicious and the baristas can pull off some nice latte art. They are attached to a brewery which handles alcohol so you can have the best of both worlds depending on what time you come in and for what. Kid-friendliness: While the place trends towards a younger clientele, I'm not sure it is very kid friendly. Parking: Plenty of public metered parking nearby Wheelchair accessibility: Not very wheelchair accessible.
Self service seating. Once you got a table head to the counter to order. Friendly staff. Nice outdoor seating with heater lamps. Brisket roll was excellent! Pork benny was also above average.
We went there like a month ago.We ordered pancake and brunch skillet. The pancake was served with apple compote and it was so flavourful. Brunch skillet contained poached eggs, roasted vegetables and bacons. I loved all of the things in the skillet but veges were really nice. We will definitely go back to this place
Delicious and innovative food. The creamy cashew nut mushrooms on hash browns were great. Vegan pancakes too! Lovely service. Great experience. Thanks
We had breakfast here on two consecutive mornings whilst staying at Nomads Queenstown, and the food is *amazing*! My wife had the raspberry French toast and I had the deceptively named bacon butty see photos. The taste, portion size and presentation were exceptional - so much so, we had the same both days. The coffee was really good too. Highly recommended.
The food here is amazing, we had the boysenberry & apple pancakes along with the brunch skillet. The pancakes were soft, the crum added some great flavour and texture along with the apple & boysenberry compote, the maple syrup side to drizzle on to taste was a great way to ensure you can manage sweetness. The brunch skillet is the best way to start the day if you want to ensure both breakfast and lunch are devoured in one sitting, it was a hearty meal that kept me satisfied until dinner. The vegetables cooked as expected for a roast, full of flavour and the potato had a thick golden crunchy skin. The eggs yolked when cut to be soaked up by the sourdough, it was definitely a meal I will not forget. Start your day right with a feed from here, especially if you are planning to have an active day hiking.
Been here 3 times. Always poor service. Great food though. The layout is confusing, which might make you feel clumsy when finding where to order, seat, pay etc. Toilet was shambles. Broken door and toilet roll holder, tap. Dirty floor. No towels. Staff kept coming over to us pressuring us to leave after being there for 60 minutes 90min booking.
First meal in Queenstown. I heard that the brisket roll is really popular here but unfortunately I came a bit late in the day and they had sold out. I ended up getting the corn fritters which was really good. The tangy sauce mixed with the corn fritters was delicious and the sweet crunch from the bacon was an excellent accompaniment.
