For me, it's the first place where photos from the menu look smaller than in the reality. Tasty food and easy to pack a takeaway if you couldn't finish. Prices are relatively low too.

Yatai is near the beginning of a crazy cool food court at the bottom of the Westfield mall. You can get a bowl of donburi starting at only $5 and the average is like $6.50. There's also udon bowls, Japanese curry bowls and perhaps something else. I didn't get to see because the food only took 20 seconds to come out! I picked the miso curry pork don rice bowl, and I took a picture as well for you guys. There's not much meat, but for $5.90 who can complain too much. They pack enough rice in to still make it a filling meal, and it's topped with some caramelized onions (I think) and some red cabbage. So many options downstairs, but this is definitely one of the cheapest and fastest.

Was wondering what a $5.90 donburi in Sydney would get me. Turns out to be pretty decent size & tasted delicious for the price point! My only 'complain' is there were more rice than the meat. Haha but i know for something this affordable, this is a fair trade. There were other appetizing items (eg: udon, curry rice) on the menu too. So i'll be back to try the rest!
