Story

Yarra Gables opened in 1999 as a small luxury motel with 5 rooms.

It has now been upgraded to 6 suites, including king spa, queen spa, family and double suites, all set in extensive cottage gardens.

From the suites and verandas you can enjoy picturesque views, magnificent sunsets and the sight of early morning balloons drifting across the valley.

Yarra Gables is licensed and has an extensive range of wine, beer and cider for you to choose from.

Yarra Gables provides a wonderful garden setting for a very comfortable stay. Don't worry about its location on Maroondah Highway. Rooms are well set back and it is a generally low trafficked road overnight with very little noise transfer. You will sleep well. Modern amenities all in great condition. Off street parking and good free wifi. Easy walk into town and a great stepping off point for wineries and other area attractions.Outstanding host who will provide a wealth of area information. Look forward to returning.
I enjoyed staying at Yarra Gables in March, where I toured Yarra's wine trail. I booked a cottage which was rather large for one person and was surprised to find that it was essentially designed as a small family home! It had three bedrooms, one of which was a master bedroom with a full bathroom, a second bathroom, laundry room, kitchen, living room, backyard, porch, patio...I was a vacationing homeowner!nnThe area is residential and quiet, close to town, with many dining and shopping options. And if you're a wine tourist, it's well situated amongst some of Australia's best vineyards and wineries! Thanks, Ralph, for ensuring I had a wonderful and comfy stay.
Rooms were comfortable, roomy, and very clean. Only a 15-minute walk to town, so a perfect location as well. The owners were attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.
Great room, very comfortable and quiet. Very nice grounds serounding the rooms. Close to the main street, most likely need to use your car, though.
Wonderful place to stay! We loved the villa - good size for a group, plenty of amenities, nice bathrooms, and the added bonus of a laundry. We appreciated the little touches like chocolates in the fridge on arrival. Plenty of parking and it felt safe off the road. Super comfy beds. Walkable to Four Pillars and cafes etc. Ralph's service was top notch and all of this for a reasonable price. We would definitely stay again!
