We stayed at Yandina caravan park for a few weeks. Our stay was lovely. Management was extremely helpful & friendly & we found them very approachable. All the groundskeepers we came across were really friendly, happy & helpful.nWe were treated with kindness from the permanents also everyone was happy to give us a smile or say hi.nWe got a caravan site down by the river. It's absolutely beautiful down there. Our caravan is very large 37 foot & we did make it down & up the road without any issues but we did walk down first & made sure we were confident. I wouldn't recommend it, if you are not 100% confident & if you have any doubts, I also would only do it with a large caravan if you have someone outside spotting the driver the whole way. Amenities were spotless, Yandina markets are a must on the Saturday morning, The town of Yandina is only a short walk. 5 stars!nThank you for a great stay!!!
What a great little park.nWe stayed in a cabin and it was sparkling clean and tidy. The Queen bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had fabulous hot water pressure and it was clean too. I liked the way the kitchenette was set up and the chairs and table very very functional.nThe teen wasn't impressed with the single bed but I can't comment. The facilities included a pool and BBQ area. There were caravan and tent sites and a good looking ablutions block.nNot as close to the coast as I thought, but still 25 Min in the car isn't that far
Location convenient and no other close options however, general service level just acceptable and despite published policy re behaviour of guests/residents, when a virtual riot commenced between permanent residence, action was zero. As casual guests, we felt that the park management response or rather, lack thereof was woeful. Go somewhere else!nI subsequently received a claim from park management blaming a tourist for that disturbance. I do not accept this as I personally witnessed park residents involved; a tourist may have got involved but the initial threats if violence and vile language was by residents. Clearly, management would prefer to blame others for their residents poor conduct. My assessment stands.
One of the best caravan parks! The park was spacious, and everything was perfect. The rooms were immaculate, and the bathrooms were spotless. The conditioning was a great touch, and the beds were super comfortable. Everything was well-organized, and the communication and the process were seamless. The entire process was smooth and hassle-free. Highly recommend!
Dangerous experience by the creek due to unstable trees.nnWe camped here last night 13.8.24 on a powered site by the creek. There are lots of large trees lining the slope behind the camp sites. One of the trees had a branch approx 350mm diameter snap off in the rain during the night with very little wind about. Thankfully only part of the branch landed on our car and awning so serious damage and injury was narrowly avoided. Creek was also rising rapidly which was another cause for concern as the campsites seemed to be at risk of flooding. Full camping area by the creek was evacuated by all campers in the section due to concerns of flood risk and further limbs falling off trees.nPark management were more concerned with their inconvenience having to move people than with safety risk of unstable trees and flood risk. We raised our concerns with park management who were dismissive because no serious damage or injury had occurred.nnCamper safety is at serious risk under the trees by the creek!!!
