The bread was pretty good, but not sure what the big fuss is about. Not really anything to see, just a plank of wood outside with whatever bread they've made that day and an honour system payment jar. Wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Was informed that hot and fresh from oven produce will be available from late afternoon. Honesty system for other times and the fruit loaf does fly off the shelves in the 10mins we were there at 730am morning

A must visit for lovers of good fresh bread right out of the wood fire over. Make sure you check the Recommended time for fresh bread each day . That’s when the bread is just coming out the oven . Sourdough was my favourite . People also recommend the fruit loaf but it was too fruity for my taste

Their bread is the BEST. They do cash-only, so be prepared as they're nowhere near an ATM.

IMPORTANT: The bread from the afternoon bake is ready around 3pm, while the fruit loaf is ready around 4pm (but times vary, so call ahead). I'm glad I use Google maps, because otherwise this 'wood' be a very hard bakery to find. But, after taking home a warm loaf of sourdough (and tasty rye) I'll definitely be making the trip again when in the area. Take plenty of 'dough', because even though the loaves are moderately priced, I don't think they take plastic.
