Story

Xenia (Greek: ξενία, ,meaning “guest-friendship”) is the ancient Greek concept of hospitality, the generosity and courtesy shown to those who are far from home and/or associates of the person bestowing guest-friendship.

Xenia Food Store opened its doors in December 2017 ten years after John and Susie celebrated opening their popular restaurant
Philhellene in Moonee Ponds. Xenia is a little sister of Philhellene and a little bit casual with an emphasis on high quality seasonal
produce to eat in or take home. You can come in for a frappe or coffee and have loukoumades or other dessert or you can have
breakfast, lunch or dinner. Xenia specialises in Vegan, Vegetarian and meat dishes of course and the deli is stocked with
plenty of seasonal salads every day. Home made spanakopitas, yemista (stuffed vegetables), meat and vegetarian moussaka.
Catering is a specialty and also the space is perfect for private functions.
