Globally inspired brunch fare and industrial vibes set in a converted warehouse

Story

Owners Cox and Marshall aim to serve simple food with the best ingredients available.

Cox has been in the hospitality industry since the early 2000s and once ran Nineteen Squares cafe in St Kilda with Huxtaburger’s Jeff Wong. Marshall is a former project manager with an obsession for food. Together they turned this former textile factory (hence the name Woven) into a pleasant Scandi-industrial space with concrete floors, exposed steel beams and a long east-facing window.

It has outdoor seating, Code Black Coffee and a zesty cafe menu that runs from vegie poke bowls to burgers that double-down on the mac n cheese.

Cosy little cafe with a delicious menu, great coffee, and friendly service. The chicken waffle stack was amazing and the coconut ice cream on top was a fun surprise. Poached eggs were great but unfortunately only served with a single slice of sourdough which felt a bit light when ordering with sides. Try the mint and mango iced tea which is a winner. Already looking forward to our next visit.
Amazing chicken tower, I love the idea of the lil injection. The fried ck was soooo good, tasty and crunchy. The coffee was great, they didn’t make coffee too hot, it was perfect temp. Outside area for puppies, nice and comfy, definitely come back again.
Nice small Cafe with friendly staff. Cold batch brew was delicious and refreshing on a hot sunny summers day, while sitting outside with the dog. Will come back to try the food, since we arrived after the kitchen had closed. Recommend.
The food here is brilliant. Favourite brunch spot in the west at the moment. Everything is delicious and prepared immaculately, coffee is good too!
If your a meat and vege person like I am, then the Brisket Benny special is for you. Its has a hint of heat behind it and was just super tasty. Lots of tasty vegan options on the menu which was good for my friend dinning with me who has allergies. My friend and I had the Salted Caramel Mocha and all I can say is I wish I ordered 2 for myself lol. Staff are friendly, look forward to dinning here again.
Amazing food! So fresh! Had the smashed avocado...absolutely delicious it had to be the freshest avocado I have ever had with feta cucumber and a hint of mint...yummo Service was perfect!
Found this place by accident today while on a drive and am very glad I did. Coffee was great. I also had the pea & mint fritters which were super tasty. The chipotle mayo had some kick to it, which I loved.
Beautiful breakfast. I had the Southern Benedict special and loved it. Wife's breakfast was full of flavour too. Highly recommend
The service was great but the food and drinks were disappointing. The chocolate milkshake tasted powdery and my friends latte was only half full. The presentation of the food was nice but I expected more for the price and the dish as a whole fell short
Delicious food and friendly service. Ordered the chicken burger and had snickers shake and long black coffee. Coffee was strong, nice crema and not full with hot water just how I like it. Chicken burger was crispy and had little bit of spiciness which was really enjoyable. One of the better places in the area. Recommended.
