On our mission to try all our local restaurants and this one did not fail us, our first time over here and the food and service was amazing. Pizza was done perfectly well and the onion rings were a to die for. Calamari was good but there surely some room for improvement. The cheese cake was nothing like you get anywhere, it was super light and not very sweet just right. We will surely be back.
Dined for lunch with friends. We shared the baked tiger prawns & lemon pepper calamari for entree. For my main I had the pork belly. All the food was delicious. I also had a mojito cocktail for my drink which was also good. Service friendly.
I highly recommend Charles & Gamon, I had a wonderful night out! I made the trip up for a BYO vinyl night. And was beyond impressed with the venue, the bar inside was lovely and they had a great range of drinks. The staff where very friendly and open for a chat that’s great to see. I ordered a main and side and it was super reasonable for the quality. It’s great to see places welcoming back live music! 5 stars
Great place. Food is yummy. Good selection of wines. Love the outdoor area. Dog friendly. Staff are friendly. We'll be back.
Had to wait over 1hr before anything came out even drinks.. staff were eventually apologetic, but still not great form. Entrees were delicious honey-baked brie and beef carpaccio. Drinks were beautiful too. I think mine was called clover club or something. Smoothest egg whites I've ever had! Steak mains were average, but it was steak night.. Table service was also a little disorganised. There was initial confusion whether we had to go up to order or not; drink orders got forgotten; constantly had to go up to get our own water refills; and they only cleared half the plates at the end.. Nice experience overall, but would be nice to have some better comms from the staff.
I held my daughter's combined 1st, 2nd and 3rd birthday here and wow! The set up and organising was seamless, the day was so fun and everyone loved the food and the staff were awesome! Such a great venue for a function so if you are thinking of it - do it! Thanks all at C&G, we will be back :
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious delicious food and drinks. Fantastic warm welcoming neighbourhood spot with very reasonably priced amazing food and a great menu. Recently went for steak night, meat eaters were very impressed with the steaks and the vego options are also brilliant. Could not recommend more.
We love this place and have come here since our little one was 3 months old! The staff are always so lovely and helpful. No issues with have our baby there, very kid friendly The food is AMAZING and we love the changing season mains. The food is very well priced and we will be back again and again for sure. We had pre-drinks here on a Thursday night, it was early evening and already had a few tables full with people having a great time! Plenty of outdoor seating with a very relaxed vibe. Staff are great, music selection is awesome and pre-drinks here is a must! We will stay for longer and can’t wait to check out the menu. #supportlocal
Great to have some drinks outside when it’s good weather. Just thought it will be better if there is a gate in outside fence area. Many dogs and families are hang around and the outside area is right next to busy road.
