I had a very disappointing experience with Michael. He sounded frustrated and spoke to me in an arrogant and disrespectful manner throughout the call. Customer service requires professionalism, patience, and respect, and unfortunately, none of these were demonstrated during our interaction.nnI strongly recommend that Michael receive additional customer service training to improve the way he communicates with clients. It also makes me question how someone with this level of customer service was placed in this role.nnI hope a supervisor reviews the call from 26/06/2026 between 3:35 pm and 3:45 pm, as it clearly reflects the poor attitude and unprofessional behaviour I experienced.nnI expect better service from Work and Income, and I hope this feedback is taken seriously to prevent others from having a similar experience
I took a bunch of home made roses to a staff member n staff thanking them for helping our Community.
Darling went out of her way to sort out my issue and was super helpful. She was impressively calm under pressure when dealing with a long line of disgruntled people, especially because it was the Friday before the long weekend. Most would be stressed or possibly complacent as it was almost closing time but she went above and beyond. Thank you so much for all ur help girl!
This must be a truly horrible experience if you need assistance. Lucky I was just there to pick up a document. The absolutely worst possible attitude from counter staff. Like an emotionless fish. No smile no eye contact no personality. Less than a few words and filing in disarray. The friend I was with started to have a psychotic episode based on attitude of staff. Lucky I had psychiatric nurse with us as security started to gather to take down my totally harmless friend. I hope I am never in need of winz help as the concept of service is alien to these people
As long as you fulfill your Jobseeker obligations then you should get along well with your MSD support staff.nnMaria Williams was my case manager, lenient and nice. Nicola Conaghan was my work broker, polite, professional and goes the extra mile for her clients. .nn2 young Maori/Polynesian female MSD staff onsite have wacky hair dyes they add to their hair. A vibrant pink hair dye was the worst I saw. The wacky hair dye looks unbecoming of a government employee, not exemplary to Jobseeker clients either.
