Lived here 15 years, been a local for many years, was searched today for having my own bag. Pretty crazy considering been a local for so many years, and Ive never shoplifted anything in my life. Thankgod I had receipts from Aldi where foods more affordable.
This is by far the worst woolies I have ever been to. The range of food is rubbish conpared to other stores. Literally have 3 doors to use and they only have 1 operating for entry and exit. Thats a hazard in itself for an emergency. The staff dont give a damn about anything and no help when asked. The bws gate on the outside is always close so you have to go all the way through woolies to enter it. The security on the weekends act as though they are cops. Absolutely deserves to get kids running a muck in it.
This store was visited by scores of schoolies last week - a hot day in Melbourne - it was Friday 13/12nThe girls were in brief swim costumes the guys in bathers and no tops..milling around - many dozens of them - swarming is the word - none that I saw were using baskets- most had day packs to stuff items into.nDoesn’t Woolies have any dress standards or security especially on a hot day in slightly down market Mordialloc? where was the manager? There was one young female employee at our checkout - she told my partner and myself she was designated as “security” and also to serve customers. We sympathized- this store needs some help. As a customer, and also having a modest number of Woolies shares, I was most unimpressed.
Woolworths Mordialloc is very neat & tidy - stacked always beautifully of every product in store -- the service at the counter is prompt & the staff are very friendly & happily answer to any queries on the supermarket - helping to find what you need....nWoolworths is situated in the Mordialloc Plaza in the heart of the Shopping centre opposite the Mordialloc Train Station....nEvery occassion festive season all year round is at Woolworths stacked & displayed for sale for the customers & families to enjoy -- Easter - Halloween & Christmas New year....!! Happily
Store is probably in need of a makeover as the building is showing it’s age, but otherwise it’s very well stocked and supplies are plenty. Parking can be difficult and can just come down to pure luck. Otherwise it’s another typical Woolies with plenty of toilet paper.
