I've been shopping here since it opened in 1999 and have always found that the products they sell are top quality and that's why I always go back, however lately I've found that some of the products are extremely poor indeed. The so called fresh lasagne had over half a cup of liquid pour out of the tray when I was preparing to cook it, indicating it had been frozen, which was reflected by the soggy pasta and lack of taste in the cooked product. Also a jar of anchovy pasta had a pool of liquid on the top and the paste was more like a soup and some Danish blue cheese that was crumbling and unable to be cut or spread on a cracker. These items were all bought on the same day. There are more supermarkets around beenleigh and they will be getting my business from now on. Pretty appalling compared to what it was in the past.
Tonight the man working the self service lanes was very unhelpful,and dismissive. When the self service machine was having its moment. He acted like it was a huge inconvenience for him to correct it. He noticed us, but kept speaking with his collegues for atleast 4 mintues before he decided to come help us. Don't make you're customers feel bad for asking for basic help using self service machines that aren't working properly. He himself could not fix the issue with it, and was rude about it.
I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful when I shopped here. The store was undergoing a revamp so all items were now in new places. As per other branches, a huge choice of products on offer with plenty of specials on to be had.
Customer service could be better, at least some of the staff could pretend to like people. They lock their deodorant up had walk back to service desk to request deodorant be opened so I could get one and then waited over 5 min no one turned up then went back to 4 staff member standing around chatting to request again to get some deodorant. If a store is going to treat the general public like criminals and lock deodorant up at least they could unlock it in a timely fashion.
Won't even answer the phone after you have to deal with the useless AI assistant
