Stock levels are usually good, but sometimes popular items sell out quickly. The store is clean and well-maintained, which makes for a pleasant shopping experience.nnParking is convenient, and the location is easy to access. Overall, it’s a reliable place to do your grocery shopping, with room for small improvements in stock availability and checkout efficiency.
Accused of shoplifting in an incredibly aggressive and rude manner. Told that because I didn’t have a receipt that I was obviously stealing… except that the checkout machines literally have an option to not print a receipt? Once proven that I didn’t shoplift, the guard refused to apologise and said he “didn’t need to because he believed I was a thief.”

Absolutely appalled by the disgraceful service at Coles. I placed an online order and received the completely wrong items. After waiting an hour on hold with customer care, I was hung up on. I then called the store that packed the order, only for it to take another three hours to get any kind of response—if you could even call it that.nnI was told, as though Coles was doing me a favour, that I could keep the incorrect items: which were six bags of clumping cat litter. I don’t have a cat and haven’t in the 10 years I’ve been ordering from Coles. I advised I didn’t want the items, expressing my annoyance that they’ve left the responsibility to discard the items up to me, because it’s wasteful. It was sheer laziness.nnSam, the “manager”, was completely out of his depth. His customer resolution skills are nonexistent, and he has no understanding of the difference between a refund and a store credit.nnWhen I requested a refund, he tried stating it was issued - to which I said, no it was a credit issued, which is unacceptable and should be reversed in place of a refund. I was advised “Coles don’t really like to do refunds.” For the record, it’s illegal to refuse a refund for faulty or incorrect goods under Australian Consumer Law. Offering a store credit instead is not just unethical—it’s illegal.nnSam’s sarcasm, dismissive attitude, and complete inability to handle the situation underscore his glaring incompetence. His arrogant demeanour makes it abundantly clear he has not only peaked in his role but is entirely unfit to manage a store—let alone interact with customers in any capacity.nnColes, this experience was an absolute disgrace. If you’re going to outsource delivery to third-party services, you need proper processes in place to ensure this kind of disaster doesn’t happen again.
Don’t bother trying to order click and collect here. You are waiting atleast 30mins down in the extremely hot basement. They never answer the click and collect phone which number is listed on the board. If you click on app that you have arrived the Cole’s staff say most of the time that doesn’t work and they don’t get notified. What’s the point of click and collect when the time spent sweating in the car you could have gone and done own shopping quicker.
