Been going here for years and I'm a regular. Was nearly on a daily basis but I've moved so now down to once maybe twice a week and I miss it! Good variety of discounted clearance food. Decent selection especially for inner city Smith st! Gotten to know most of the regular staff and they have been helpful and friendly to me.

One of the better Woolworths stores in Melbourne. Very good variety of product and a friendly, on the ball staff keep this place ticking. Excellent rooftop parking as well.

Feels slightly rundown (although they have been slowly rennovating over the last couple of years) and the car park on top is useful. The biggest issue I have is that they are frequently (50% of the time) out of stock on an item or two on my shopping list each time which means I often have to go to another store to finish my shopping trip. Compare that to the other major grocery store further up Smith St where I can't recall a time when they were missing an item I needed.

The store is cleaner and fresher which it needed to be as it was becoming seedy and dirty.. easy to navigate around

Very lacking in vegan and non dairy options. Woolies is lacking behind even tiny independent supermarkets in the vegan and vegetarian spaces Woolies constantly has junk food and very unhealthy food on large sale e.g. 50% off. Woolies also puts a lot of unhealthy food at child night, enticing children to look at and probably ask their parents to purchase unhealthy items Woolworths has a slightly better product range than Coles when it comes to vegan and non dairy options. There is often items sold out at Woolies Collingwood with empty spaces in shelves.
