I've been a Wongs customer for the past ten years and I've never had an issue.Wongs cafe has quality fresh food that dazzles the taste buds and excites the mind. Their old style high standard cooking is accompanied with a very rich history of love and priceless family knowledge passed down from generations. You can tell all of these elements are infused into every dish each and every time. The lovely owners go above and beyond.

While the service was great, with very friendly staff, the food was inedible. The vegetable noodle soup stock was bland and tasteless, while the vegetables were overcooked (again tasteless) mush. The dumplings matched the soup. They were so bad I could only eat a few and the rest went in the bin. It reminded me of bad country town Chinese restaurants from my childhood, certainly not the great food you can find in any other restaurant along Glenhuntly Rd.

Steve was fantastic and it is a shame that it's shutting in 2 weeks, GET in there for lunch or dinner before it closes.
