Make no mistake, this is a music review. Close your eyes and imagine... it's 1pm on a Monday, the sun is shining, you've come to a world class wine center to experience the best the region has to offer. You're seated outside, the food is exquisite, the service is friendly. After carefully considering your wine flight, you think about the wine regions across the world and what you're about to experience... And then the music kicks in. Here's a sample of what was blasting us away — in exact order: Rhythm of the night Rhythm is a dancer Hammer time Admittedly all bangers, but read the room. Am I at a world class wine center for lunch or working up a sweat in a dive bar at 2am?
Great spot for a coffee and cake. Not a broad selection, but can recommend the caramel cheese cake; coffee is good too. I’m certain there is a vast variety of wines available, should that be your thing, and some nice looking platters. Quite busy but the coffee was delivered quickly and with icy cold glasses of water too.
Popped in for a coffee and cake with a long time Friend, during an exploration of the botanic gardens. Looking forward to exploring the venue
75th Birthday lunch, Wow!!! I have never done a four hour long lunch before at a restaurant. There was no pressure from the extremely accommodating staff to hurry. The food was beyond expectations and very reasonably priced. The wines were to die for. We will certainly be back. I would highly recommend it.
The Wined bar is absolutely beautiful. We are regular customers and I am never disappointed by the service and range of food & wine on offer. A must visit for anyone in Adelaide. We highly recommend giving the Enomatic card a go - it's like an adult candy store!
We thought the meals were excellent and reasonably priced. A lovely waitress also helped find information for us on wine education courses they conduct at the centre. Above and beyond...gold star!!
Staff need better training and the supervisor needs to check her attitude. I’m not one to write reviews but I’m so incensed by our poor treatment that I feel compelled to. We came in for lunch, decided what we wanted, so ordered at the bar. The young girl must have been quite new because she needed help to process our entertainment voucher and the whole order taking took a long time. Then the poor girl accidentally rang it all up on an already open tab so had to start again. All this time I was pleasant, not demanding, and patient. I could sense people behind us getting frustrated and her supervisor getting annoyed with her. I heard her say to the supervisor “they wanted to order here” to which I said, “oh I’m happy to pay later if it saves some time”. The supervisor then snipped back at me that it was “too late for that”. Clearly I’d made a grave error in ordering when/where I had. I now realise that it was likely table service however no one actually told us this. When I asked for a receiptneeded for tax purposes this then took another long while for the poor girl to try to do, she asked if she could bring it to me later. I said, not nastily, “that’s ok, but I will need to get it” just so she knew it was important. Her supervisor snapped at me “you will get it” then snatched it from the other poor girl’s hand and threw it across the counter at me. The supervisor in question, who I will not name, should ensure her staff are trained properly and not blame customers for her own ineptitude to manage stress. We won’t be returning. Tip for customers: check if it’s table service or bar ordering seems to change on a whim and give yourself plenty of time to pay the bill.
Wine o wine.. 120 wines to choose from, choose your size drink, insert card ans GO. Bit on the pricey side especially for the small sample size that only wets your mouth. But a great experince ans a must see for wine lovers. Locates in the surroundings of the botanical gardens
Great idea, food is good and its great to have wines to taste on your own. Seemed a bit pricey just to try some of the wines. But great place to be for tourists.
Great place to experience various wines.. Fun to use wine vending machine for tasting. Exhibition is rather weak though.
