Wild Rocket @ Misty's is situated in one of the most historic buildings in Montville, the former 'Fancy Goods & Lolly Shop' is now the perfect restaurant space, with many quirky nooks and crannies. This space now also houses a micro brewery brewing a range of craft beers on tap.

Owner UK chef Peter Brettell and his wife Belinda opened Wild Rocket at the start of December 2010 after spending months sourcing the best local produce and free range organic meats. Everything is made onsite, from beef sausages, breads, stock, sauces and even the jams and chutneys that are served with scones.

The staff already have a reputation for being "the friendliest staff in Montville" and the baristas create stunning coffees using locally roasted beans (served with homemade biscotti!)

Do not listen to the bad reviews. This is easily one of the best, if not the best places to eat in Montville. I can absolutely assure you, that you’ll love your meal. Brilliant service, brilliant food, brilliant location. Just perfect!

Excellent food & service in a lovely building - well done!  We have had great meals here, pity we have to go home tomoro, but we will return :-)

Ate dinner last night. Barramundi was delicious. Desert was acceptable. Apple and rhubarb dish. Spicy indian dish delicious. Good value at just over a hundred for a couple.

My rating would be 0 stars but that is impossible. 

The food was absolutely disgusting! The meat wasn't fresh and tasted weird it felt as if it was frozen and put into the microwave. The chips were made in fish oil and smelled disgusting. I am appalled at the customer service too. One of the waitress' made me feel like she was in a hurry and didn't care about my order. We ordered two coffees and it didn't come on our receipts we confessed and offered to pay for it, a woman said that it's fine and we shouldn't worry about it. We thought that's was very kind but soon later when we were about to leave we were chased by the owner. The owner said we must pay for it although his waitress told us not to worry about it. It was blatantly not our fault and the owner took it out on us for their mistake. Then the same waitress lied and said she never said that and that we said that the coffee and food was amazing. As you can tell from my review that is obviously untrue. Then the manager/owner threw the receipt at us and went on arguing with us. May I add, the other staff members were bystanders and watched as he abused us while they just watched backing him up for ridiculous reasons that weren't true. He then swore at us and said to stick something up our asses, which is highly unprofessional and rude. If you are reading this Pete, I'm sure you are very disappointed. By the way I am only ten years old and I had to witness you abusing my mother.

They started closing the restaurant well before closing time and while people were still eating - basically forcing customers out!
