Good place to have lunch and drinks with fam and friends. Pet friendly. Located near the beach. Prices are quite expensive but plates are massive especially the fish and chips. I love the Buffalo wings, sweet potato chips and lychee lounge. There also choices for small meals. Craft beers are good - You have plenty to choose from. Decent price. My partner had the True Blue. We loved it.
Went to this place because we looked for an inviting place with people who seemed to be enjoying the view, beer and food. I was Impressed by the boutique beer Trilogy packs a punch and mouth watering menu. Chicken Schnitzel with macadamia parsley crumb was the best I have ever had. Pumpkin Quinoa Bowl with Salt Squid Calamari was the best. Well done team. Great customer service and can't wait to get back there. Wish I had a pic of the chicken.
Great spot! Venue is a vibe enjoying a drink and food overlooking the water. I’m not a big beer drinker but I enjoyed the food, the chilli squid was 10/10 and I would get this dish over and over. The salmon bowl is also light and fresh.
Wonderful breakfast of their avocado toast with added fried eggs. The flavour was pitch perfect, and the double espresso was lovely. Honestly one of the best cuppas I've had in a long time.
Good beer, awful food. Which is super disappointing when so many breweries have nailed their food options. Things we had: 1. Chips $10. Skin on potato chips with aoili. Not over salted, good chips. Maybe a tad exxy, but big serve. Highlight of the meal. 2. Wings $16. Only one flavour available, no buffalo. Well cooked, could have used more sauce or a dipping sauce. Better than the other protein dishes. 3. Cauliflower Steak. $18. Very small sad serve of cauliflower. Not really a steak, 5 florets with sauce. Surprisingly good sauce and pomegranates pairing but really not $18 worth. 4. Fish tacos. $18. Vietnamese style tacos. Odd combo because Viet food is normally light and zesty. The deep fried very small fish and soft shell tacos take away from this and you're left pining for a spicy Mayo or more fish, or just more flavour. It's just rice noodle and no spice. 5. Crispy pork belly. $24. The worst dish of the night. I once had a year 10 home ec pork belly that was better. Skin was gelatinous, not even close to crispy. One quarter meat was burnt and black. The texture overall was like paste. I guess the potato was OK. I've never been sadder Overall, I'd come back to drink, I'd eat next door.
Great location, backed up with excellent hoppy brews. Small tap selection of their own beers. Amazingly, some of the beers have a coastal/tropical feel about them.
We ate inside and it was very loud so I would recommend outside . The beers we got were very sweet and that’s not to our taste but it’s probably just that we ordered the wrong ones . We got the brisket tacos which were fine . We also got the special which was sliders . They were very spicy and I couldn’t eat more than 1. If you like spice they were good but no where on the description did it say anything about spicy or jalapeño ect . I would have returned them but someone at our table likes spicy so we switched food . A little on the pricy side but overall ok .
Been here plenty of times before and it’s been great, but it looks like a newish menu and some staff maybe new too have taken a backwards step. Servings were small for the $, salmon was over cooked and chicken salad bowl was plain. Staff were civil without any drive for actual customer service. Shame as it’s the only spot open on Wednesday so not much competition
Great drinking spot with a view. Great range of freshly brewed beverages. Raspberry stout was a taste sensation. Not sure what to get I recommend the tasting paddle of 4 different beers and the friendly advice and guidance of the friendly knowledgeable staff.
Great place to set up and work away from the office or home. Super welcoming & friendly customer servce, great beers on offer. But the value $17? for the brisket tacos with a sprinkling of corn Maybe $7
