I went there to settle an IRD payment on 5/Dec/2022. It is inside Barrington mall. Just to your right at the entrance. Nice and tidy inside. There was a older male representative who served me. He was good. Smiled and had a wee chat while getting the things done. In general what I observed while waiting in the queue was that the speed of the service as a whole is slower.
ATM swallowed coins $500+ and there's been no resolution a week later. Long queues and limited opening hours. Not many tellers working but a lot of staff wondering around looking 'busy.'
Nice clean welcoming bank just inside the Barrington mall Simeon St entrance. Security guard checking customers signed in friendly. Bank tellers very friendly, providing thorough service. Maybe a little understaffed on the front desk. Once being served also excellent service
Avoid this branch. If you want to deal with a person, they're useless here. If you want to deposit notes or coins, be ready for the machine to eat your coins or notes and then have to wait a month to get the money you deposited into your account... Repeatedly. This branch doesn't care about the customer or fixing issues.
Terrible, terrible service! Came in with a simple automatic payment set up request. Teller argued that it couldn't be done, after 20minutes of her become quite abusive, SHE realized she was wrong, no apology. What an awful experience when it should have been a simple transaction.
Very poor service at Barrington. New teller had to go into the back to ask Manager how to solve query and came back 3 times with answers that weren't relevant or correct. Long queue and Manager never came out. Excellent service at Cashel St branch by comparison. They answered query straight away and had a number of managers come out to help customers as it got busy.
Slow service. Only one teller working during a busy lunchtime. Plenty of other staff there being ‘busy’ but not serving customers.
Used to be ok, but over the last year or the customer service from Westpac as a whole esp on the phone is absolutely appalling!!! Impossible to contact, then when they call back you just get a message to call them again meaning your in a never ending loop of zero service. Westpacs about to lose a customer of 30+ years.
Had a great experience here. Very personable consultant who helped with my query. Don't know why there are so many bad reviews!
they dont really care about people.just money.they are behind the times.terrible to visit long wait times and shut when you need them
