Bought a Jeep Cherokee Overland 6yrs ago, and recently bought a 2021 Toyota CH-R for my daughter. Even my cousin bought a Toyota Hilux from them. To Sam, Ben, Omar, Edna and all the guys at Westgate Motors, Thank you so much and I highly recommend anyone out there looking for car to go and see them! Looking forward seeing them again!
Awful car dealership. My car was dodgy when I went to pick it up after putting a deposit down, coolant? No it was water flowing out the bottom of the car. Turned off while I was driving on the main road, don’t expect to get a good car here.
Brought a Navara 2 years ago, was told unable to test drive, low and behold sold with rough idle issues which i managed to fix myself, was told ahhh diesels are just like that when they idle initially. 2 years later After warranty blown engine. Now i can fix this myself buy guys be ware when purchasing from these guys they have more red flags then a russian war ship and straight up say what ever comes to mind when raising issues or questioning issues.
The people here are good, a bunch of blokes but affable and likeable. Very hel0ful,honest,not overbearing,everything you thought about a used car salesman is thrown out the window here. So very helpful. We had good technical discussion, general life story banter,a laugh,all sorts of conversation , it's what makes life and buying cars good because the car we bought and the others there are very good. Go there, you will agree with my words here.
Bought a car 5 years ago. Bought a 3 year roadside as I usually go with RACV but $99 for 3 years sounded good.. 2 years later the transmission failed and I was stuck not their fault but the Roadside was for one year only. Bit shifty guys.
Having never bought a vehicle from a dealer before, I did have some reservations, but Omar, Sam and the team at Westgate Motors delivered outstanding service from start to finish. Thank you so much Westgate Motors, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This whole experience has been fantastic.
Omar was great to talk to and helped me out with any queries I had even via text. Good variety of cars for the right price. Came with 3 year warranty for peace of mind and they fix all the paperwork for you so all you need to do is pick it up and drive away.
Check them out, more used vehicles than you can poke a stick at. Located west side of the city. Ask for Alan for any inquiries regarding any vehicles you may be interested in. Warranties can be negotiated, worth a look. You might well be driving the vehicle of your choice in next to no time. But take your time, as there's no pressure. Take it for a satisfactory test drive, Also check on You tube for any vehicle in mind for reliability and economy and owners reviews. Massive help and advice on this channel for all concerned highly recommended. Please check You Tube first. Hope you'll find the car that reflects your own individual personality. Had a horrible experience trying to purchase a car through Westgate Motors. Looking back, I shouldn't be surprised, my first dealings with them even just over the phone were very unprofessional and raised the alarms in my head. After seeing the car and negotiating a price, I was contacted the next day asking if I'd like to put down a deposit. I said yes but I was immediately told the initial price was too low, and we reached a new higher price, after which I transferred a deposit via bank transfer and arranged to pick the car up the following week. I received another call a few days later to say that the dealer had "miscalculated the stamp duty" and was no longer able to offer me this second agreed upon price. I wasn't offered the opportunity to purchase the car at this higher price, instead I was just told they would transfer my deposit back to me. This suggests to me that they had in fact already sold the car to another buyer for a higher price and had no regard for the verbal contract we had made. It was completely unethical for them to renege on my deposit, and an incredibly unprofessional experience overall. I would never recommend this company to family or friends as it is simply a waste of time. They were exactly like the stereotypical "dodgy car salesman" you want to avoid.
Really good guys!! went above and beyond to help me during and after purchase. Even accommodating my well behaved Dog who is always with me lol Shining young star Mathew definitely knew how to provide customer survice. Mathew made me feel comfortable and valued as a customer, was super friendly and well mannered. Second hand car dealers can be hard to talk to and pushy, especially as a woman shopping. I didn't find that here at all. Thanx guys
