Westfield Southland

It's good place to be at but towards one end part of the city. The buildings are well interconnect and its sometimes easy to forget the place you entered from. You can reach here via bus or a private vehicles. The options available are very good with a variety of food, clothing outlets. It's big enough to make you tired but it won't let you get bored. The staff is helpful and you won't come empty handed. Even when you will sit to relax you will enjoy the premises as it's such well decorated.

I use to love the centre as it was accessible and easy convenient shopping. Now with the parking, I have lost interest. I paid for parking as I was over the hours which I totally had forgotten about. Also the carpets all changed I use to know like the back of hand. Now all roads they are changed into carpets. It's a shame as it truly was a centre that would be meeting place. Having worked there for over 1 decade(1995-2005) I grew up in this centre. Great memories of it even before the renovations took place. If u do go it will be in and out and to exact shop.i require however prefer local shopping now.

Very large. Has the majority of stores that you will need. Great cinema. A plethora of options for eating. Store quality ranges from store to store. Parking system is easy to use and good that it allows a few hours of free parking.

Very clean mall. Good parking spaces and very structured unlike many of the other centers. Go when there is some sale going on. Prices are not bad but you have to spend some time to find something good. Pretty busy yet nice for shopping. The food section has variety to choose from. Ventilation is ok but not really good. Overall its one of the good shopping centers.

I enjoy window shopping and trying the perfumes in Myer. Love the fact that Southland station is open which makes it so easy to get to Southland by public transport. Always love the reject shop, target, kmart, best n less & of course Aldis amongst other shops and department stores. Enjoy chocolate cookies at Mrs Fields and a very yummy tandoori chicken pizza & house sparkling for $14.95 at Red Corner cafe as well. Definitely worth walking around as there is alot to see and buy and if you love hand bags, shoes, lingerie and of course sporting goods you can go wrong
