WoW! What a neat place to go to, well done to Paula and her team and the locals of Katikati It appears that they change things around every 3 months or so, always something new to look at, so you will need to go back, this museum is also supported by Te Papa in Wellington, it even has hands on for the young to enjoy.

Very warm welcome and beautifully presented small museum mostly about colonial life. We would have liked to see more about tangata whenua.

Lovely museum on the main street in Katikati and handly located next to a childrens playground.  Go and explore and have a chat with Barry.
