My wife and I used Belle Vue as our base for 5 nights while we explored the surrounding area.  Steve and Liz were awesome and super helpful with advice on where to go and what to see, and lots of stories about the area.nThe room was immaculately presented and we had a delicious breakfast each day in the lovely dining room to set us on our way.  It was a great place to stay with a lovely view out over the lake and a short drive in to Taupo.

Recently spent one night at this beautiful place, the building is just lovely, beautifully maintained and extremely clean.  The hosts are so warm and welcoming and could not have done more to make us feel comfortable.  Meals were just beautiful, we had a lovely bottle of wine and cheese platter for us in our room, with beautiful views over Lake Taupo.  Could not have wanted more so thank you Liz and Steve for doing everything possible to make our one night away so lovely.nGraham & Karen

Amazing experience!!! The lodge was absolutely beautiful and the food was outstanding. Enjoyed a bottle of bubbles and a cheese platter on arrival , sat  on the balcony taking in the gorgeous views. Our host’s Steve and Liz were so friendly and made our stay very special !! Definitely recommend , we will be back

My friends and I stayed here for 1 night and it was easily the best bed and breakfast experience we have ever had. Liz and Steve are so wonderful. Kind, informative, professional and efficient. Breakfast was lovely, rooms and guest facilities were perfect. We arrived on sunset and the views were breathtaking. The only negative was that we only booked for 1 night!!! Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

We felt very spoilt during our night at the Lodge. We had a very cosy stay, ate lots of delicious food, and enjoyed lovely views. The accomodation is beautiful, and the hosts are amazing. This is a wonderful place to escape to!
