Myself and my partner stayed at the Belle vue Boutique lodge in Taupo from the 12th till the 14th of January 2018. We stayed in Suite 2. Upon arrival we were provided with champagne and a cheese platter which we enjoyed on our balcony with a stunning view of the lake. The bed was large and comfy. Both the room and en suite were nicely decorated and very clean. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast at Belle vue which gave us plenty of energy for the day ahead. The area was peaceful and close to the town. Liz and Steve are two of the friendliest hosts you'll ever meet. They make you feel very welcome and will ensure that your needs are met. We will be returning to Belle vue at some point in the near future for another weekend of relaxation.

Liz and Steve have been in the hospitality business for a few years and it shows.  No detail missed, no item forgotten.  They seem to have thought of everything from towels for the beach, to sun cream and a spare toothbrush. The fridge was stocked with both a cheese platter and a fruit platter.  There's a Nespresso machine.  The room opens out onto a verandah overlooking the lake. A copious breakfast of homemade goodies.  I can go on...

...but will simply summarise that Belle Vue is top class.

Steve and liz made our weekend away here feel like a week, from the lovely cheese platter with a bottle of bubbles, to the amazing 3 course dinner , and the helpful hints of taupo, we had a great time, beutiful room and surroundings, highly reccomend, Aplus

Expensive boutique accommodation. The host makes you feel very warm and welcome.

Liz and Steve go beyond the call of duty, nothing is too much trouble - even being driven here and there and hen to the airport. Amazing house, amazing breakfast, great value, highly recommended
