Story

Located right on the seafront at the beach end of Wells Street, Frankston, Waves on the Beach offers an amazing picturesque casual dining experience. It boasts spectacular panoramic views over Port Phillip Bay, from the tall skyscrapers of Melbourne all the way round to the cruising ferries off Queenscliff.

The recently refurbished room is modern and relaxed, allowing for an easy, coastal feel with comfortable furniture and expansive windows that showcase the breathtaking sea views.

The alfresco balcony eating area is opened during the warmer days to allow the sea breeze to flow through.

Fairly good pub style food but you go for the outlook over the beach rather than the food. Alas, we went on a hot day so we had to park a km away and diners near the windows demanded the blinds were pulled down to avoid heat and glare. It defeated our reason for going. Great on a non-beach day.

Amazing restaurant! Great food, great service and the best sea view in Melbourne! Had my Birthday dinner there with my family and we all enjoyed it very much!

The place was very nice right on the beach and the food was good, i loved the prawns and Thai salad with calamari. Fish and chips were just ok. I recommend this place.

Had great experience the two young waiters working there  were a breath of fresh air they were great fun the food was great and the views were amazing well done waves
