I like the friendly atmosphere and nice drinks. 
It's a lovely place to catch up with friends over lunch. 
Food is pretty average though, but it's still worth a try.

Good place to take my parents for lunch.  The wine is good and very reasonably priced and the food is ok.  I had the calamari special, though not outstanding, as far as deep fried & crumbed calamari goes it was as expected. The venue though is very well catered for the older generation and it was a pleasant place to have lunch.

Nice bistro but very disappointed in the size of serving. I ordered garlic prawns for $29 and I counted 5 medium size prawns, accompanied by a mound of rice and measly salad. This dish is worth $15 max. The entrees were similarly small. The garlic aioli that came with my tiny $8 entree chips was straight-out-of-the tube variety, the kind you get at ALDI for 2 bucks. I expect more from RSL. Shame.

Great food, great pricing, challenge to get a car park. Make sure you get a car park ticket from reception.
