Wattamolla Beach

It's a nice place for a picnic. Head out there with a picnic basket and spend a day. You can have a dip in the sea or in the water from the fall, pick one, pick both, make it a day. I have seen a couple of people jump off the fall as well which I wouldn't recommend that but apart from that it's a beautiful place.

Lovely beach with nice trails to explore throughout the day. You have to go down some stairs and wade across the water to reach the beach so make sure you don't mind getting wet! Some people dive off the cliff which is fun to watch as well. Definitely a great place for a family day.

Great beach for swimming. Gets deep quick. The lagoon area is also great to swim in. Dive in off the top cliff at your risk... people have died. The water is usually calm enough to swim right to the heads. It’s a bit of a walk down from the car park and toilets down to the beach area

Great beach for the summer with patrols during holidays 10-5ish. Both a beach to the ocean and freshwater lagoon give options for families and couples. Parking is limited and there aren’t any showers at least where I checked. Water can get deep so watch out, swim between the flags.

Good parking. Need to be there early. The only downfall is the bridge crossing is not there most of the time now. If you brought a gazebo and some heavy stuff. Good luck. Bit of a hike going down and going back up the long stairs.. Beach though is awesome for the kids.

Great place for a day out. Both freshwater and Saltwater swimming options surrounded by beautiful spacious beach and bush. Jumping rock is a must try if you are a confident swimmer. Beaches and river are now patrolled by life guards for extra safety.

This is a very nice beach with a lot of space to do a lot of activities. You can enjoy a barbecue up the top. You can go for a swim or just relax in the beach. There is plenty of parking. The toilets are located not far from the beach and are very clean. Beautiful clean beach.
