Terrible service. Recommend shopping anywhere but here. Ordered what they call a "special order" which was just a plain 5mm 9ct white gold band with 1 small diamond set in the middle of a star cut (the star cut in the gold gives the illusion the diamond is larger than it is). It's a men's wedding ring. At time or order we were told "2 weeks wait, 3 at the most". At the 5th week and many promises later we were promised 1 more week and that it would be ready on the Saturday. We called Saturday and when we were told it was not ready again we asked for a refund. The staff member said she was too busy to keep talking and hung up the phone. She called back around an hour later and said the ring was ready. We took the ring home and realised it had no 9ct stamp on it anywhere. We took it back and were told it had to go back to the dreaded workshop that took forever to make it. We were told it would take a few days. It's been a week and we just got a text message saying it I'll be ready in another half a week. The worst thing is, we are not sure the protective coating was put on it because it went dull and scratching looking within a few days while we had it. But once we get it back we will just take it to a different jeweller because the rude staff and horrendous wait times with this place are just unforgivable. Shop elsewhere people !

Hi, I just visited your Chermside store and had the most horrible experience that I would like head office to know about. My Grandma has recently passed away and so I inherited a ring. I took this ring in to get quoted for a resize so that I would be able to wear it. The girls in store commented that it was very fragile and I responded that it was probably very old as she had a lot of old items in her home and did not throw out family heirlooms. So it could be her grandmothers for all I know. After a little while of all the staff in the store checking to see what kind of gold my ring was, one of the girls decided to rub the ring on a polishing cloth very hard to test to see if it was gold. She pressed so hard on the ring (that she had just called délicate minutes earlier) that it broke. She did not apologise, seem shocked when it broke and did not offer to repair it. She showed no remorse or respect to me that she had just broken an important piece of family jewellery. She simply remarked that it must be a cheap ring because her rubbing it on the cloth broke it. She went on to take off one of her white gold rings to show me what she was trying to achieve by rubbing the ring on the polishing cloth. I noticed that she didn't press as hard or grip the ring in the same spots as she did with mine when she did it for the second time. The apparent black lines that are means to show up did not show up with her ring either. I question whether she knows how to do this technique correctly and whether she should have been doing this. On the brink of tears, I asked her if the store would fix my ring for free since they just broke it. She showed me no remorse and said she could see, but they may not be able to. She gave me the impression that she wanted me to feel like I was asking too much by asking this of the store, but she did the paper work anyway. We began the process of the paper work to have it put in to be fixed "maybe" for free. She then began commenting that it was probably not real gold and very cheap again. I wrote a message to my parents as she did the paperwork to let them know that their Mothers ring was broken! While I waited for my parents to respond to my message about my Grandmas broken ring, she told me that even if they do repair it that it may shatter later on because of the break. I'm appalled that i walked into your store with a beautiful shining ring and walked out with a broken one. I was not apologised to until I walked out of the store and decided to take my Grandmas ring away to a more trusted jeweller. This was incredibly heartbreaking to me and I feel as though this was not enough to consolidate somebody who's ring was just broken by yourselves! Regardless of whether it was "real gold" or not. Nobody should be made to feel like their jewellery doesn't matter because it isn't as expensive. Regardless of whether that ring cost a little or alot of money that ring was very important to me. I walked in with a shining beautiful ring and walked out with a broken ring, with little to no apology. I cannot believe that it took me walking out of the store for the girl to call out "sorry about that", as though we were talking about a apples not being in stock at Coles. Please let me know that this is not regular procedure for your staff when they break jewellery and that the Chermside store team will be reminded of common sense and manners to their customers! Particularly if they break somebody else's property! Valuable in their eyes or not!

Amazingly caring staff who took the time to help me find the perfect gifts. This has been the case every time I visit this store. They offer great prices and have amazing customer service. Great shopping experience.

When I was contemplating what cut of diamond I would like for an engagement ring (early 2014), I went to this particular store to see if they had different shapes I could try on; oval, emerald, pear. The two ladies serving me looked extremely confused. They told me that no such shaped diamonds existed. In 2014 fancy cut diamonds were not widely available in Australia, I knew that, but every jewellery shop I had been to still acknowledged their existence and apologised for not carrying the stock. Not these ladies, when I explained that I had seen these shapes online they basically told me that they were all a fake and a scam and "you can't trust everything you see online". I just could not believe the tone they used. Let alone how extensive their lack of knowledge on jewelry was. If you can't trust them with the piece that for most people will be the thing they save the longest for, think the hardest about and choose with the most care, therefore making it the most important piece they sell, then what can you trust them with? I have no idea if the two Wallace Bishops in Westfield Chermside share staff, but the other one is certainly the place to go to out of the two. Not really sure why they have two in the first place.
