My husband went to Waikato Hospital for his respiratory appointment on 9/7/2025.nnDr. Rebecca Antsy is very professional, patient, devoted and helpful and explained to my husband in a very detailed manner.nnNurses at the front counter at Reception F are very helpful and friendly.nnWe are very satisfied with the services the staff at Waikato Hospital.nnThe hospital is very clean and tidy.

Arrived in ambulance to waikato hospital after experiencing a mini stroke , exceptional service from ambulance drivers arrived within 10 minutes, 54km to hospital, very friendly at reception accident emergency admitted into stroke unit after 11 hours long waiting was a bit frustrating as department was full of people mostly with a six and a half hour appointment waiting time understandable with the government supposed fixed hospital waiting times. Over the next five days  had all the best service tests chest X-ray CT and MRI  brain scan plus many other tests. Great help form the staff, nurses, doctors, wards men, physio, occupational therapy,all the  staff that carried out testing there were many, cleaners, food delivery persons ,food was five out of five.all  test results have checked out well with what may have been a heart rate problem all under control with medication and a discharge 6 days later. I can't thank the staff enough for the  attention and friendly service a rating deservedly of a 10. Carparking, in hospital shopping, canteen geat food and the best of prices prices.a speacal thanks to the staff that has taken care of me

My father spent 21 days at the hospital drawn out due to contracting covid on one of the wards.  Despite obvious staff shortages and the need for more money from Government and many more staff, the care shown to my Dad was pretty good.  Despite being so busy, the nurses and doctors were always friendly and did their best, despite the sheer volume of patients coming through the doors on a daily basis.

Waikato Hospital is by far the best I’ve ever been to. During my wrist surgery, they looked after me and treated me with exceptional care. I would like to give my heartfelt thanks to all the nurses, anaesthetists, and surgeons for their dedication — my wrist is now in excellent condition again.

Thank you to all staff nurses doctors @ the team who looked after me on the 12th December 2025  with my  glass pane accident . You guys rocknBig love big hugs.
