Really great tour of the WACA. Our tour guide Steve was a wealth of knowledge and really took his time showing us everything answering questions and telling us of his own experiences at the WACA. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Perth to do the tour and with a bit of luck you might get Steve on a personal tour like we did as there was 3 of us which made it way more personal..Excellent Tour of a historic site oozing with cricketing history..Definitely won't be dissapointed!!
Enjoyed day 3 of the Ladies test match Australua V's India and got to see the finished redevelopment at the WACA. Optus stadium is nice but I love the WACA ground more, it has so much cricket history.
Very nice ground, although it was a shame to not have a museum and memorabilia to take as a memory with me. In saying that, I'm really happy to have paid a visit here!
We walked from Optus Stadium to the WACA fully knowing they don't do tours. My husband talked with a lovely security guard who let us in for a bit. The western Australian players were practising. My husband was over the moon and the security guard made my cricket loving husbands day.
Most beautiful ground in Australia. I hope the WACA hosts an international men's test here again some day, as the atmosphere during matches is absolutely electric!nnThe Optus Stadium is good but could not replace the WACA. The grass section is loved by my kids, they get to play cricket with international kids when games are on and it is beautiful to see.
