We are a small family owned wine producer in Victoria and we have supplied wine to the Victorian Wine Centre for many years. New owners took over last year, and they are some of the worst offenders when it comes to paying their bills. We have an outstanding invoice that is 190 days overdue. We have made several reminders by email, phone and in person. They asked if we would swap a couple of bottles that they were not happy with. By that time the invoice was already 90 days overdue. We have no problems with replacing bottles, and we are more than happy to do so, but we did ask for a payment before sending new bottles. They didn't reply. We are a true believer in using a high quality premium cork closure, and sometimes you can get an 'off' bottle (but not corked) but in our experience that is very very rare. We have still not been been paid the money we are owed. Its very disappointing.

All outside tables at other nearby cafes were full, but at 9.00am on a Sunday this café had only one group of 4 who were sitting  inside (a bad sign, I suppose).
 I sat at an outside table and was given a menu and water. after 18mins I ventured inside with my order as I had obviously been forgotten. How does this happen when only one other table is occupied??
 I ordered poached eggs on sourdough with smashed avo on side. When it came there was one very small piece of toast. Yes I could have asked for another but how mean was this - how much does an extra slice of bread cost?
I went to pay the bill. The girl at the till took an extraordinarily long time to bring up my order and bill. (there were still only several people in the café). It was $18.30 and I handed her $50.30 and received $30 back. I had to ask for the missing $2.
Ok, one incident might be trivial, but put together it is very annoying. There must be a reason why all the other cafes were full!

Wouldn't bother. Bought a Scoopon for breakfast for $19 that included two meals (Choice of pancakes or sausages with eggs and haloumi) plus a coffee. We arrived with our 2 children and another friend. We placed our order along with ordering a hot chocolate and a muffin for our little one plus a coffee for our friend. One of the waitresses come to tell us that the menu has been changed so we would need to order something else. The manager then come over to advise we could choose anything on the menu as a substitute. We both ordered the breakfast. Our tea, coffees and hot chocolate arrived along with a blueberry muffin. The muffin was stale, hard and barely edible. The staff, while lovely took both our meals and coffees to different tables. Breakfast was ok but everything was deep fried and covered in oil, including the mushrooms!

I went to pay for our bill thinking the difference would only be around $12 for the coffee, hot chocolate and the muffin? However I was given a bill of $71 with the owner then explaining that the voucher was only upto a $46 value and we had to pay the difference of $25.70. When I advised I was not paying it and that I'd only pay for the three items after being told we could have anything on the menu, he again tried to tell me that I needed to pay the difference. I refused on principal and only paid the $12 extra.

Staff are nice and friendly, although seemed inexperienced, but tried their best. Won't be in a rush to go back here - actually ever.
